I think she's in my front garden in Sydney. I've tried to chase her away but she rebuilds her web across my path to the bins very quickly. Perhaps I'll have to start ducking and be brave.

Dear Steve,

What a wonderful safari we have just spent with you at Jack's Camp and on the mobile safari in the Okavango.

It was spectacular in every way, and I cannot thank you enough for imparting your encyclopaedic knowledge to us and making our trip so memorable. It truly was the "holiday of a lifetime" and we all loved every single minute. I have come home with so many recollections of amazing things we have seen and experienced in the desert and in the delta. It was a great privilege to travel with you and I cannot wait to come back to Africa.

A million thanks, and kindest regards,

Sara.

Dear Finns
Welcome to our beautiful city and we wish you a stunning walk with Steve appreciating our Mountains in the Sea. Your requirement to document things 'real time' I assume means a daily post on the blog but I sure hope some of you are carrying video cameras to capture some of the truly magnificent scenery so that you have a record of your walk when you get home!
Enjoy every moment.

This is a great blog entry Steve. I have often wondered how long it will be before the Whites are considered an 'Alien Invasive Species' here in SA aong with the trout. Your comments re the San are spot on. It's time to put the past behind us and move on together to embrace the multi-cultural society that history has created for all it's strengths.

Wow, how wonderful to see this in bloom! I am so used to looking at iceplant and having to remove it, as we live in California and it is invasive. What a relief to be able to appreciate it's vibrant beauty and resilience!

Go Stev-o!
